Tokyo 2020 official, Aoki executives ‘arrested on suspicion of bribery

Japanese prosecutors have arrested former Tokyo 2020 organising committee executive Haruyuki Takahashi and three men associated with fashion company Aoki Holdings on suspicion of bribery, according to media reports.

Japan Times reports that Takahashi is accused of accepting ¥51m ($377,000/€370,000) from Aoki in return for “favourable arrangements” related to sponsorship deals for the Olympics.
