There are interpretation issues related to rules and regulations of sports, nuances related to doping, regulation, registration, affiliations and media rights require a specialised body of knowledge and organisations to deal with it.
Sports law is an amalgamation of laws that apply to athletes and the sports they play. There are many laws, which impact the business of sports. Role of legal experts starts from contract between players and clubs to trademark endorsements, sponsorship rights and extending to dispute resolution.
Capacity building and also aggregation of these experts and industry requires special attention. Delay in providing fair justice may devastate the performance of organisation and the life of an individual player.

and also popularise and provide alternative dispute resolution systems including arbitration for the speedy services. Capacity of sports lawyers are to be built to understand the nuances of sports and laws around it. Requirements of an independent sports arbitration body is to be taken to the MYAS, Law Ministry and the IOA.
