NDMC to provide sports infrastructure development and 9000 tablets to schools

NDMC operates 43 schools for 28,000 students. They plan to provide 9,000 tablets to Classes 9-12, improve sports facilities, redesign uniforms, hire consultants, and install tracks at parks, for Rs 1.60 crore in 2024-25.

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has announced an expansive plan aimed at strengthening educational facilities within its schools during the financial year 2024-25. This initiative includes the provision of 9,000 computer tablets for students, enhancing sports training infrastructure, and introducing nature-based classrooms.

New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) member Kuljeet Singh Chahal said the council will also be setting up a wrestling centre at the Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya located on Mandir Marg.
